Rachel, Taylor + Big Brother

Rachel and Taylor’s Fresh48 session was the sweetest welcome into the world for their baby girl— and such a meaningful full-circle moment for me. I had the honor of photographing their wedding a few years ago, and getting to document this next chapter of their story made this session even more special.

Welcoming their second child added a beautiful new dynamic, especially seeing big brother ease into his role. He was a little hesitant at first, carefully observing from a safe distance, but it didn’t take long for curiosity to turn into excitement. Those early moments— quiet glances, tentative smiles, and his first interactions with his baby sister— filled the room with so much love.

Fresh48 sessions are deeply personal— capturing the in-between moments before life speeds up again. From the first cuddles to the growing bond between siblings, this session was a beautiful reminder of how quickly families grow and how meaningful it is to preserve every season of life.
